Short courses of the Nebrija Arts and Humanities Institute Exhibitions Curating

This course offers comprehensive training in exhibition curation, combining theory and practice to develop innovative cultural projects. Participants will explore everything from the foundations of contemporary art and curatorial methodologies to the management of spaces, funding, and project communication.

With a contemporary approach, they will analyze real case studies, learn to conceptualize exhibition narratives, and work on a final project that integrates all aspects of the curatorial process—preparing them to engage with the dynamic ecosystem of today’s art world.

Claudia Rodríguez Ponga

(Madrid, 1982) holds a PhD in Arts from the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP) and an MA in Curatorial Studies from Goldsmiths College, London. She teaches at Universidad Nebrija, Escuela SUR (CBA/UC3M), and IE University.
Her recent curatorial practice includes projects with artists such as Cristina Mejías, Sara Ramo, Eva Lootz, and Jonathas de Andrade, among others. In 2021, she was awarded —along with Isabella Lenzi— for the exhibition Nudo Nido (XII edition of Se Busca Comisario, Comunidad de Madrid).
She is currently preparing a group exhibition at Collegium (Ávila, 2027), the touring version of Cristina Mejías’s show at La Panera (Lleida, 2026), and a forthcoming book to be published by Aurora Polaris and Autoras en Tienda in 2026.
