Short courses of the Nebrija Arts and Humanities Institute Film Criticism: Analysis, Writing, and Influence in the Cultural Dialogue

This course reaffirms the relevance of film criticism in a context where analyses of all kinds proliferate across social media and new communication platforms. It is therefore essential to understand the role that criticism plays within contemporary culture, as well as to develop film analysis skills that take into account the form, content, ideology, and style of cinematic works. Participants will also learn to write critical texts with an argumentative focus and a refined aesthetic sensibility.

A theoretical and practical workshop specially designed for those who wish to place film criticism in dialogue with film history, artistic discourses, and broader cultural debates.
